CLOMID

I had an appt with my OB yesterday for a follow up pap from my October Colpo that I had done. That part went smoothly and actually my OB didn't do the procedure...the other in house OB did and mine stood there and talked to me about the subject of this post.

So there I was sitting on the  table / bed thing waiting for Dr. P to come in...oh and this was after the assistant took my info and the other OB came in and took more. Anyways...in comes my OB and the first thing out of her mouth is "I think the best option right now for you is Clomid". I tried not to kiss her right then there because that woman just made my day!! Well next thing I now my feet are up in the air and the other OB is doing her thing as mine continues to discuss Clomid.She tells me that I will have a 10% chance of conceiving multiples and that if the 50mg dosage doesn't work I will be upped to 100 and then 150.

After my first round of Clomid, which will start in April, I am to let my cycle go to 35 days. If AF is not here by then then I am to go get a pregnancy test ran. She's hoping that I will be pregnant because if not then she is upping my dosage and I am scheduling and HSG. Also known as Hysterosalpingogram...Aka...they put dye inside you and check your tubes and ovaries. She said we will give clomid up to 6 months and if I'm not pregnant then we will look into other options.

Sooo in the mean time this cycle can hurry up and either end with a BFP or me starting Clomid. I'm really hoping that since I've been on synthroid for a little over 3wks now that I will ovulate sooner this cycle. Right now I'm on CD12 and things are looking good. Well until Tuesday when I go to the new endo there probably won't be an update...I hope you are all having a great weekend!
