Pot Holder

I made a pot holder today. I took a pair of $1, 100% cotton pants that I saw yesterday and cut them up. So far I have only done one holder but plan to make as many as I can out of the pants....I'm think about 6 of them. 

Materials

100% Pink Cotton Pants / Or fabric of your choice

1 piece of Insul-Bright

1 piece of 100% cotton batting

Light Pink bias tape

Size

9" long x 7.5" wide

Cut all the materials the same length and then add the bias tape around the edges to clean up the look.

Here is a photo of the finished product. I don't think it's too horrible for the first time. And it's not super thick which is just fine for sitting hot plates and pots on I think.
