List of things I need to do this weekend......on my days off.

#1   CLEAN OUR APT..... What I really wish is that one of these days I will come home and my husband will have picked up the house..I know......yeah right.

#2   Put the new faucet on the kitchen sink that's been sitting in the box for the last two months. This is supposed to be the hubby's job but I don't think it will get done if I don't do it.

#3   Put away all clothes that are still in the big blue tubs.

#4   Move the mattress into the bedroom once everything is put away in there.

#5  Search for a good set of chairs for the living room that will eventually go in the game / craft room in August.

#6  Order fabric from Joanns for my baby blankets and burp cloths I need to make over the next few weeks for a good friend in FL.

#7   Start my savings fund back up.I have some saved up but July is going to be a hard month on bills since Joshua won't get paid until August more than likely....well, except for his reserve pay but that's not going to pay the bills. It will help though because I only make like $950 a month.

#8   Hopefully see my sister and brother in law and their little ones out at the farm. (We are supposed to go to the lake for a memorial day thing but I don't really care to I'm afraid.)

#9  Make sure all bills for June are paid for and we have enough Mula to finish paying the rest of June bills at the end of next week.

Gosh...being a grown up is sort of a downer. I wish we had a money tree! LOL.  Honestly, I wish a few years ago I had made myself a list of what was important for me at the time. I probably wouldn't be in debt now...or at least not in the position I'm in. Live and learn I suppose. At least at the moment we aren't putting ourselves into anymore debt than we already have. It's my goal that by the time I'm 30....eight years from now....that we will be completely out of debt. I know that seems like a long time from now but we can only make due with the finances we have at the moment. When we both have good paying jobs then life will be so much better for us because we are both learning how to handle money a lot better now than we have in the past, which means when we do have good paying jobs we will know how to handle it...or at least hopefully. We are going to have to!

  1. Dealing with money always seems to be a learning process. We are better at handling it now, then we used to be ( when we were in our early 20s), but we know that we still have lots to learn.
