Duplex duties

You know, it never really bothered me before that our bathroom looks like crap, that it needs the ceiling redone and the walls painted. But today, while taking a shower I realized that I would not want my baby in that room without it being finished. The ceiling is getting moldy because the bathroom doesn't have a vent and we don't usually open the window...or the people before us didn't. Now I'm not saying that the mold is horrible...it's just starting in the corners and I really want it taken care of this fall when it gets cooler and less muggy.

 

Another task on the list is still the kitchen faucet. I know that should already be done but the hubby just doesn't seem to want to do it. Then today he was all there are more important things than the bathroom...like the kitchen sink! Can you believe that? I mean...the faucet is a piece of crap and does need changed but really? The cabinet floor under the sink also needs replaced because the pipe leaked and what do you suppose is there now? That's right...mold...gross. So he can change that too while he's at it.

The only other thing that I can really think of that needs to be done is just organizing the duplex in a way that won't be crowded. Joshua and his brother will be moving in the rest of our furniture today so I'm pretty excited to get that all back. I just don't know how I want things set up because we have more furniture now than we did before we moved the first time. 

All in All the duplex is really a great place. It just has some minor details that need worked out....which reminds me...I have to clean the curtains that some random bird pooped on when he got in the house. Or should I just toss them?
