Joshua can feel the LO
Yesterday evening we went over to the inlaws to watch the Mizzou football game. Well during the third quarter our little one started moving around and kicking like never before. Since I was sitting next to Joshua I took his hand and laid it on my lower abdomen. After about ten minutes or so I told him I don't think you are going to feel it if you haven't yet because this kid was going crazy! Well, I ended up moving his hand so that his palm was more on the center of my abdomen and I told him that for some reason the palm of my hand is more sensitive to feeling it move. Within three minutes he felt a jab and then an even harder one right in the center of his hand! He looked at me and was like, "IS THAT THE BABY?!" LOL. I said it sure was because I can't do those things on my own. His mom and dad started laughing...by the way...they were there as was his friend Manuel from Germany. He left his hand there long enough to feel it hit him one more time with the biggest grin yet scared look on his face. I wish I could have captured it on camera because the look was priceless.
When we got home last night he said, "You have a baby in you. A live being. I felt it move. We are really going to have a baby." I just looked at him and said, "I know that sweetie. That's why I have wanted you to feel him or her move."
How precious, to really feel a baby push through on your tummy is so amazing.
