Piggy Bank
So before my family left this past weekend Joshua and I went to dinner with everyone and of course tried to pay for it. I say tried because when we got home my aunt and grandma both gave me forty bucks. So much for making an attempt at paying for outback. LOL. Anyway, I have decided to take that money and put it in a piggy bank for Rory. I actually stuck and extra twenty in there to make it $100. Each paycheck I get from now until January I will add $100 to her bank. She should start out with a couple hundred bucks by the time she's born. I guess I just figure it's never too soon to start a child's fund. As she gets older I would like to do chores with her and give her a few bucks a week. She will have the option to put it in her piggy bank or spend it. I would like to be able to teach her how to save and spend her money wisely. My big picture for her is to be able to help pay for her education or first car or maybe even both.
I wish I would have done this long before now with myself! Maybe I would have my debt paid off.
