So Sick

I'm ill. This has been coming for at least a week. The runny nose and sneezing crept in last week which led to canker sores and the start of a sore throat. Yesterday I woke up with a sinus headache...more like a migraine and I hadn't slept in about three days except for a few hours here and there. Last night I went to bed knowing that today my throat would be in severe pain and I would not be able to talk...which is exactly what has happened. My throat is killing me and my nose is both stuffed up and running at the same time. I also have a bad cough now and that hurts more than anything else. So for the last two days I have had to call into work. I feel so silly putting in my two weeks then taking two days off in a row. At least tomorrow I'm scheduled off. I'm hoping by Tuesday I'm well enough to get back to work. 

On a good note....Mizzou won last night!! WOO HOO! They knocked out #1 Oklahoma and are now on a 7-0 winning streak this season. They play Nebraska in Lincoln next week. If they win that game we are home free for the rest of the season and have a very good chance of playing in the national game. :)
