One of my best friends had her baby....

He is Beautiful. Eli Jacob Eugene....I won't put the last name. He was born  on December 11th weighing 6lbs 14 oz and 19 inches long. He looks just like his daddy. I'm so happy for her. Her hubby surprised her when he showed up at the hospital this morning. He wasn't supposed to be home from Iraq until the 20th of December. I'm sorry that he missed the birth but am happy he got to come home early. He saw little Eli about 15+ hours after he was born.

Eli looks like a very happy and aware little boy. I will get to meet him after Christmas when they move back to the area. I can't wait to hold him and see his mom...oh and finally meet his daddy!!. This all reminds me..... I NEED TO FINISH HIS BLANKET!!!!

You know...the last few days I have been dreading all the people around me that were going to be having babies or telling me they are pregnant. Now that he's here and my niece soon to follow sometime this week....I couldn't be more happy. Life is the most precious gift God could give anyone. My family and friends are extremely blessed to be welcoming new life into this world as 2009 comes to an end.
