2010
Well it's New Years Eve, the time of year when a lot of people go out with friends or family and party like it was 1999. (Which by the way I was in jr high and at a skating rink for that new year) Joshua and I have never gone out for New Years Eve and that won't be changing tonight because we are both sick and he has to work today and tomorrow.
2010 has been both a wonderful and trying year for me and the hubby.
Feb- Found out I have hypothyroidism thanks to being tested for infertility and I will be on thyroid meds for the rest of my life.
April- Moved back to Springfield and I was blessed with a job within a week.
May- After two and a half months of being on my meds we got our first positive pregnancy test. We both still talk about how shocking it was. I can remember my stomach dropping and me not breathing there for a second in the bathroom holding the stick with two lines.
June- 7wks after our positive test I had my first official confirmation that we were indeed having a little one. I will never forget seeing that ultrasound and hearing our child's heartbeat for the first time.
September - Hubbies active duty status was up and he went back to being a reservist. Trying time financially for us since we weren't sure how soon or where he would end up working.
October- God blessed us with a wonderful job for Joshua. The position was actually made for him. We found out that we were having a little girl and my mom, aunt and grandmother came to visit for a few days. We spent lots of time shopping for girlie things :)
November - At 27wks I stopped working. We wanted me to spend the third trimester at home and I'm glad because I've mostly been sick with allergies / colds.
December - Money has been extremely tight but God has been providing for us when we most need it. We had our 3D Ultrasound and figured out our daughter will most likely look just like me. We also had maternity photos done and they have turned out beautifully.
2011 is going to start out exciting for myself and Joshua and continue throughout the year as we watch Rory grow. Joshua will be returning to school and I will hopefully do the same in the fall but only time will tell.
