Crib Bedding
Well as I eventually got bored last night and washed the crib bedding that I bought five months ago and put it all together in the crib. It looks really nice. Putting it in the crib makes everything seem that much more real too and let's face it...I got tired of looking at the mattress. I do need to get a mattress pad and put it under the sheet but I am hoping I get one of those for Christmas or the baby shower. If not...I will just have to head to BRU close to my due date to get one and some other items with my 20% off. :)
On a sort of different yet the same topic - This morning when Joshua got in the car to take him to work he said, "I'm ready for our daughter to be here. Well, not really "ready" but you know what I mean." This sort of shocked me I'm not going to lie. He hasn't been very vocal about Rory...I mean he is excited but for him to say he's ready for her to be here is a huge step in my book for him. He's also been talking to her...more of whispering to her really. He will get really close to my belly and whisper Hello and that he loves her. It's super sweet and makes me happy. He is so ready to just hold her...he even had a dream about a week ago that she was born and he couldn't stop holding her and he wouldn't let anyone else but me touch her. LOL. I can totally see him doing that.
Actually, while I'm talking about just me, him and Rory and her arrival. We have decided that when I go into labor that it will just be me and him. We will let people know I'm in labor but we don't want anyone at the hospital until after she is born and we have some time with her. My family is going to be in Ohio anyway...unless I know exactly when I'm due...like if I'm induced. We just want to take the time for us to be with her before we get bombarded with visitors, plus I don't want to be a huge crab to everyone from being worn out. So I think it's best for all involved if we at least get a few hours with our daughter before everyone else does.
Anywho - Here are the photos of the crib and bedding :)
