4 month appt

Rory had her 4 month appt yesterday and the dr is very happy with her growth. She weighed in at 15lbs 7oz and the girl claims she is only 24 inches long. I say "claims" because at her 2 month appt she was 24 1/2 inches long so I'm thinking she didn't read the tape right AND she wasn't pulling her legs out completely. Joshua and I measured her last week and got 26 inches which is much more likely. The dr said we could start feeding her foods if we want as well but I'm waiting. I'm not ready to take that step yet so I'm giving it at least another month. I want to EBF her for as long as possible. I have no reason to rush her into eating foods, although I think she would be able to handle it just fine as she's showing all the signs that indicate she would be able to eat them with no problem.

Sigh...our little baby isn't going to be a little baby forever. Like I said in the post title before - She is growing quickly! She is going to be crawling soon so I have to start baby proofing some of the house because she just seems ornery enough to get into just about everything : /
