Update on Us

Well it's been a little while since I've update (as my SIL pointed out to me the other day) so I thought I should share what's going on in our lives. 

For starters - Rory now has three teeth! Two bottom ones and a top one that is peeking through. She got her second bottom tooth on 9/27 and her first top tooth on 10/6. Needless to say we haven't slept much since my last post. And in all honesty, she has been a WONDERFUL teether, I just wish she would sleep more than 1-2 hours at a time through the night. This momma (and daddy) are getting pretty sleep deprived.

Little miss also got her big girl car seat on 10/6. She loves it and so do I. I have ridden in the back with her a few times to be sure I liked it and how she fit in it. She seems comfortable and sleeps well in it.

As for me, I have been busy working on our future home. We have three weeks left before we are expected to move in and I have been working my little fanny off. I did take the 2nd-4th off and then again today. I have a feeling I may regret doing so. There is SO much to do. In the end it will all be worth it though. We will have a larger home, awesome back yard and right across the street from the in-laws, and I can't forget the awsome fossil rock in the back yard that the nephews have fallen in love with. ; )

I also have my Christmas shopping done for the little miss. I got her a two learning / activity sets and two pillow case dresses from a friend of mine. Her daughter who just turned one has a rare medical condition and they are now selling her clothes that she no longer fits into or won't be able to wear to help pay for medical bills. I ALSO got her a custom crochet hat in Mizzou Colors which I am more than excited about! I can't wait until it gets here to see it :)

That's the update on us for now. I know I have missed something but I know you all will forgive me (or at least I hope). 

BTW - Fall is upon us! Rory is loving the leaves. I can't wait until there are enough to make leaf piles. Oh the photos I will take :)
