Cloth wipes
Well today I used the last of the store bought wipes in our house (there are still some at the inlaws and pretty sure another three packages packed up for the move). So with there being no more wipes in the house I have decided to adventure into cloth wipes again. (I used them for a short while when I first started cloth when she was a month old) Tonight I cut up the scrap flannel fabrics I have and made about 12 wipes. (I will make more later) I didn't do anything fancy with the extra zig zag line or anything like that. I did a simple stitch and then flipped them right side out and sewed the hole shut. Actually, I did one with another stitch on top as well but I decided that unless I'm selling them, then I have no need to do that.
I also made up some wipe solution and it smells like a baby :) I will be applying the solution to each wipe as needed instead of letting them sit in a tub. I just feel it will be more sanitary that way. Below is the recipe I found at zany-zebra. There are others if this doesn't suit your style. I had these on hand so it made my life easier!
1 tablespoon baby oil
2 teaspoons baby shampoo
2 1/2 cups water
