Taking The Plunge
We found a house, actually a house and five acres and the best part is, it's still in town - well, sort of. It's about three miles out of the city limits but technically still in town. I mean walmart isn't even a mile down the road! AND my favorite antique store is too...oh and a bakery sits on the corner....can you imagine a bakery in walking distance?! Could be bad news for a momma who likes donuts ;)
The other thing is, it's only been on the market for 5 days! 5 DAYS! The hubby has already been to talk with the bank and we are hoping to have the ball rolling by tomorrow or Monday at the latest. Our realtor has already written up a contract too!
Bringing myself back to reality though, I don't want to get my hopes up too high. The place needs work and someone could already be snatching it up from under us as I type this. (We hope not!) So keep us in your thoughts as this will be a huge step in our lives, to own our first home. Praying it all works out!
