Cabbage Soup

Excuse me for all the recipes lately, but I'm trying to merge them all into one location - my Recipes tab with links to individual ones. I did have a page but I had to manually change it and it was becoming a chore. I learned the other day from Joshua's cousin how to do the link verson, so it's going to be a week or two of food posts. (She also the blog owner of emmy in the making so you should stop by and check her out!)

This is a recipe we have been making for at two years now. Not something I eat because I don't like cabbage but the hubby and daughter love it.

Cabbage Soup
Ingredients
1-1 1/2 lbs Hamburger
1 Green Pepper
Onion (We skip these since hubby hates them)
4 beef bouillon cubes
2 Chicken bouillon cubes
6 cups of water
1 Can Red Beans (or any other beans you want, we usually do three cans of different kinds.)
1 Can Diced Tomatoes (or dice your own)
1 TSP Chili Powder (you can add more if you like)
2 TBSP Catchup
Garlic (Fresh or Dry to your liking. We don't use a lot!)
Salt and Pepper
1 Small Cabbage Chopped

Directions
Brown hamburger, green peppers and onions. Throw all other ingredients into your pot and cook on medium. Add hamburger mix when finished and simmer for 30 minutes.

This is a super easy recipe and could easily be changed based on your tastes.
