8 years later....
Woah! I can't believe it's been 8 years since I last updated this blog. I have thought of it often and decided to jump back in. As noted in the previous post, our family did indeed grow. We now have 7 (yes, SEVEN) kiddos, the youngest is now 3 and the oldest will soon be 14. This blog began as a way for me to discuss the process of my infertility 15 years ago, so it's hard to believe that we were blessed with 7 amazing kids after being diagnosed with Hashimotos at 21 (I'm nearly 37 now). I guess you could say, the title should no longer be One Little Family....maybe I should work on changing that.
Since being diagnosed, I've gone through phases of different diets and exercises, none sticking because of, well, life. I'm not only a full time mom, but also a full time teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing, and full time doctoral student. I've decided that my well-being needs an upgrade because physically and mentally I'm EXHAUSTED. So, as I embark on this journey, I will hold myself accountable, which means I'm coming back to blogging. I hope to keep track of my exercises, foods and life in general.
If you've made it this far, welcome! I hope you get the chance to look at past posts, that are probably poorly written and cringy, but none the less important parts of who I am. As I work through this blog, you may notice some changes take place to make it more about where I am in life today and not 8 years ago.
