Braxton Hicks

I'm 26wks today and my body welcomed the occasion with braxton hicks contractions for three hours in the middle of the night. I had them with Rory too but closer to 30wks and I don't recall them starting out so aggressively. I actually thought I was going to have to make a trip to the hospital to make sure they weren't "real" contractions because they were a few minutes apart, lasted about 30 seconds each and were hunch over painful. The main reason I didn't freak is because I could change positions or get up and the contractions would calm a little. I have 14 weeks to go (give or take) and I do not look forward to these if these keep up in a way they did last night! Water, water, water will be my only source of drink from here on out.

In other news, we still haven't come up with a name for little guy. Hard to believe that we've known his gender for four weeks already! Hmmm...maybe Braxton would be a good name though, I like it.... This pregnancy is definitely going by quickly.
