Mongolian Beef
I'm not sure if this should really be called Mongolian beef or not but that's what I'm calling it. I got the idea from a paleo crockpot recipe here and obviously didn't follow it at all.
Ingredients
2 lbs Beef Round Steak (or about 2lbs...)
3 thin Carrots, peeled and chopped
1 Green Bell Pepper, chopped
1 Broccoli head, chopped
2 tbs Honey
1tsp Ground Ginger
1 tbs red chili paste (omit if you don't like spice or add more if you want. I added more)
2tbs soy sauce
2 tbs butter
Directions
In your pan / wok melt the butter and add your soy sauce.
Lay your meat directly onto pan. (You can choose to cut your steak before or after cooking. I like mine to cook on both sides and then cut it into sizes I want as it cooks)
Throw in your chopped veggies.
Add your honey, ginger and chili paste.
Let cook over a medium heat until steak and veggies are cooked through.
Serve with or on a side of white rice.
